After interviewing 30 auto rickshaw walas in Aurangabad for an assignment for Piaggio, we were rewarded with a visit to the amazing Ellora caves in Daulatabad. Dating back to more than 5000 years it was particularly fascinating to see these remarkable pieces of architecture. A near perfect fusion of design and science, the fusion of three distinct faiths (Buddhism, Jainism, Hinduism) through style and storytelling. The caves are a symbol of India's diversity and unity. Little wonder then that this is a UNESCO world heritage site.
This is more of a photo blog, a diary of images that catch my attention in my day to day existence on this planet. Its a travelogue, a discussion or simply a point of view on a subject of interest to me. I do hope that you will have the time to join in to leave a comment and start something new.
